I’ve known Bernard for over two years, sometimes cooking an extra portion for him when I cook my dinner. He has always been in good spirits and he’s the most appreciative person I’ve ever met in such difficult circumstances.
Now the goal is to help him get an ID, stable affordable housing, and a job to support himself. I am going to act as his pro bono financial advisor to help him save and spend wisely.
If you have any insight into really affordable housing options and/or potential roommates please let us know!
Donations go toward direct needs like documents, transportation, food, initial deposit for housing, and job-related expenses. Together we’re going to get him back on his feet supporting himself!
